Beginning Days of School

What a fabulous first two days of school! The children arrived with huge smiles and loads of excitement. Parents, you were brave, too, and I am so proud of you, as well! :)

I am very impressed at how well behaved all of the children were and how quickly they caught on to the procedures. It can be so confusing and overwhelming on the first few days of school and your children handled themselves wonderfully. As our magic playdough predicted... everyone is destined for a stellar year. We were all VERY excited about that!

Finally, we have several food allergies in our classroom. Therefore, it is imperative that you put your child's snack and drink in either a permanent lunch bag, paper or plastic bag with their first name on the front. This eliminates problems with "who's drink/banana is this?" and allows the children to be independent when they come into school and unpack their bag for the day.
